Small groups are where it's at! Why join a small group?
Connection with others is so essential. We were created for community. It's where we can encourage one another, enjoy life together, grow together, and have fun doing what we love to do!
What are small groups?
Small groups and classes are weekly or even monthly get-togethers where groups of between 3-15 people gather. Groups meet at the church, or in homes. There are all kinds of groups. For example, you’ll find bible study groups, groups built around common interests, groups that meet for prayer or to serve in some way. Even groups that meet to fix things around the church. (So long as coffee is provided!). All are led by leaders who care about people and who desire to grow in their walk with God.
What should I expect?
Friendship, growing in your faith, learning the scriptures, sharing and receiving encouragement, caring and praying for one another, and laughing and sometimes eating - how can you beat that?!
Who Can Join?
Small groups and classes are open to anyone. Find one that works for you. Fill out our contact form for more information!
For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.

Where can I serve?
The strength of a church is not measured on Sunday, but by the impact it makes as the “body of Christ”. Taking our example from Jesus himself, we desire to help real people with real needs through opportunities close to home, and around the world. By doing so, to help them tangibly experience the love of Christ.
Get involved in making a difference here and now for eternity. We look forward to walking in Christ’s footsteps together with you! How Can You Help?
• Children’s Ministries – If you love children and would enjoy assisting with a class, helping with a fun event, coordinating an activity, etc, our kids are the best!
• Teens – Help lead a teen event one Friday night a month! If you have two hours to invest, you’ll find a great group of teens here to invest in.
• Note card ministry to encourage others. Even one hour a week will make a difference in the lives of people going through tough times, loneliness, bereavement, etc.
• Nursing Home Ministry – If you have two hours a month, one of our leaders would love to invite you to be a part of their ministry at the Country Manor Nursing Home. If you can smile, give hugs, shake hands, you can make a difference here. If you play an instrument or sing, all the better!
• Other Opportunities arise throughout the year – such as supporting the Care Net Pregnancy Center, Carthage VEM Food Pantry, etc
The greatest among you will be your servant.
