A Night Of Community Worship and Prayer

Ephesians 4:4-6 says “There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in one hope of our calling; One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism; One God and Father of all who is above all and through all, and in you all.”

The challenges we face in our community won’t be solved by individual efforts, no matter how impressive they may be. We need the presence of Jesus to be restored to His church. Citywide problems require a citywide church to cry out in desperation for the presence of God to be restored. The body of Christ in a city is either going to be salt and light and therefore have a positive impact on the city, or the city with its opposing values will influence and mold the church into its own image. Paul connects the reality of our unity in Christ with the measure of the fullness we obtain in Him together.
